Dedicated International Educator Inspiring Future Scientists, Mathematicians, and Lifelong Learners

With 25 years of teaching experience in leading international schools, including 12 years specializing in IBDP Chemistry (SL/HL) and advanced mathematics, I am honoured to have played a role in shaping the journeys of so many remarkable young minds. My experience spans the English Key Stage 3 and 4 (GCSE/IGCSE) systems, A-levels, Scottish, Australian, and European curricula, with a strong foundation in IGCSE Combined Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, and Biology) and mathematics.

I believe education is about so much more than lessons and exams—it’s about inspiring students to see their own potential, supporting them as they grow, and encouraging them to make meaningful connections between their learning and the wider world. I take a holistic approach to teaching, focusing on the whole student and nurturing their academic, personal, and social growth, both inside and outside the classroom.

Professional Attributes and Philosophies:

  • Committed to Student Success:
    • Seeing students discover their capabilities and achieve their goals is the most rewarding part of my work.
  • Holistic, Real-World Teaching:
    • I strive to show students the relevance of what they’re learning, empowering them to think critically and confidently tackle challenges beyond the classroom.
  • Empathy and Care:
    • I genuinely care about each student’s journey, always seeking to create a supportive and inspiring environment where they feel seen, valued, and encouraged.
  • Innovative and Adaptive:
    • Whether through ICT integration or differentiated teaching methods, I adapt to the needs of diverse learners, ensuring that every student has the tools to thrive.
  • Lifelong Learner:
    • I continually refine my skills and approach to meet the evolving needs of education, driven by a desire to serve my students better every day.

I am humbled by the trust students and their families place in me as an educator. My role is not only to teach but to guide and inspire—helping young people grow into confident, compassionate, and capable individuals who will make a positive impact in the world.

Because teaching isn’t just a profession—it’s a privilege.
